“Starting this Saturday, Aug. 2, construction will close several stations on the southern end of the Green Line through Aug. 31.
Closed stations: Naylor Road, Suitland, and Branch Av.
Shuttle alternatives
Local shuttle: Service between Branch Av, Suitland, Naylor Road, and Southern Av every 8-10 minutes.
Express shuttle: Service between Branch Av and Southern Av every 8-10 minutes.
For two weekends, (Aug. 9-10 and Aug. 16-17), the construction area will extend to Anacostia with Congress Heights, Southern Av, Naylor Road, Suitland, and Branch Av stations closed.
Express shuttles will stop at Anacostia, Southern Av, and Branch Av. A local shuttle will stop at each closed station.
