“The DC State Fair announces its return on Saturday, September 6th, 2025, from 10am to 5pm at Bryant St NE, offering a free showcase of the region’s agricultural, culinary, and artistic talents. This beloved community event will bring together thousands of attendees from across the region for a day of contests, demonstrations, live music, delicious fair food, and family-friendly activities.
The 2025 DC State Fair promises to deliver the authentic state fair experience that has become a cherished tradition in the nation’s capital. Visitors can expect:
Agricultural, art, and culinary contests celebrating local producers and makers
Live music performances on the Main Stage throughout the day
Hands-on demonstrations showcasing artistic, culinary, and agricultural crafts and skills
Local makers and vendors selling unique, handcrafted goods
Kids’ activities designed to engage families and young visitors
Traditional fair food and local culinary offerings
“At this moment, perhaps more than ever, we are aware of the importance of fostering a strong local community in DC,” said Maggie Downing, Board President. “This event celebrates everything that makes DC special – from our talented local makers and artisans to the strong community spirit that defines DC.”
