“Red Hound Pizza in Takoma Park celebrates its one-year anniversary this week! Since opening in July 2024, the pizzeria has earned a loyal following for its naturally leavened pizzas made with locally grown and milled wheat, topped with fresh produce and dairy from Mid-Atlantic farms.
To mark this milestone, Red Hound Pizza is excited to announce an expanded lineup of soft-serve flavors—including a dairy-free option available all the time—perfectly complementing their biweekly rotating menu of seasonal pizzas, salads, and desserts. As a special thank you, on Friday, July 18, customers will receive a slice of red velvet cake with every full pizza purchase.
With summer in full swing, Red Hound is retiring breakfast service to focus on serving customers at lunchtime and dinner.
