The Royal shares yesterday:
“10 YEARS! ✨ In the summer of 2015 (June to be exact), the Royal opened its doors.
Our family created this place of ours to be a neighborhood hub of LeDroit Park: super casual, minimal rules, good drinks and food that we’d enjoy in our own home. Our primary focus was to be a community coffee shop during the day and a corner cocktail bar at night, all while providing quality food.
We’ve stayed very true to this, however we were surprised at how much you all embraced our Latin and Colombian-inspired food menu, so much so that food became our biggest seller!
We’ve been lucky enough to receive recognition and accolades from everyone from the Michelin Guide (Bib Gourmand & Plate honors) to “Cocktail Program of the Year” and “Casual Restaurant of the Year” winners from the RAMW, to even consulting with our Colombiana icon @karolg helping to open her new restaurants @provenza.mde @carolina.mde in Medellin last year! 💥
We’ve evolved over the last decade to meet the changes of our community. We’ve heard customers’ feedback that you wanted a little more attention tableside… so to celebrate our 10th birthday, we’re announcing a few new changes! 💥
💛 we’ve just rolled out FULL TABLE SERVICE during dinner hours (starting at 5pm nightly).
💛 we revamped our culinary space to debut a redesigned and EXPANDED MENU
💛 next week, we’re launching a new HAPPY HOUR with extended hours and cheaper drink prices
