“Natural Gas ‘Processing Plant’ on DC Public Sidewalk” Wait, what?

Mount Pleasant writes:

“Why has a natural gas “Processing Plant” been erected on a Washington, DC public sidewalk in a Historic District at 3215 Mount Pleasant St NW, Washington, DC 20010?!?!?!

This dangerous and ugly pipe monstrosity should not be allowed on a public sidewalk to service a new small 4 story mixed use building. It must be moved inside the newly constructed building or underground.

Or is this a new outdoor children’s climbing gym?!?! Are swings & slides soon to be added?

Or an urban art installation?

Or a new version of a Festivus Tree? Maybe we should hang ornaments on it come the Winter Holidays?”
