Update: DC Fire and EMS reporting “2 alarm fire 3800 block Albamarle St NW. Heavy fire on arrival large 2 story detached frame house. Heavy fire knocked down. Hose lines moving in on both floors.”

“Update 2 Alarm fire 3800 block Albermarle St NW. Still exposing & extinguishing pockets of fire in a large 2.5 story detached frame house. Fire basement extended all floors and attic. There are no injuries reported.”

“AlertDC] DC Fire and EMS reports the 3800 block of Albemarle Street, NW, between 38th and 39th Streets is closed due to fire department activity. Please use alternate routes and expect delays.”
