Folks that live in the area brought down the barrel and the cones.
The local business owners have been calling 311 and asking for help. DDOT representatives were here this week looking at the problem.
Our collective concern is that if this isn’t fixed before the Pride Parade, the potential exists for someone to be hurt.
Any suggestions on who at DDOT that we can contact to stress the urgency of having this repaired quickly would be greatly appreciated.
I want to make sure that I didn’t give the misimpression that the neighborhood businesses, or the ANC Commissioners, had been idly standing by. They, too, have been raising the alarm with DDOT.
There are lots of good business owners and the ANC members who genuinely have our collective best interests at heart. They’re working double time to help out.”
