I want to give a shoutout to newly open Halal Kingz!
I live near Halal Kingz and each time I’d walk by it, Mohammed would wave to me and ask me to try it sometime. I was walking to lunch and decided that I’d try Halal Kingz after reading the reviews. Mohammed immediately greeted me, asked me about myself, and told me that he promises I’ll enjoy the falafel gyro I ordered (I’m a vegetarian). I thanked him, waited, and expected to like it like I like most falafel gyros.
Holy hell y’all. It is incredible.
It was not just a basic falafel gyro with a little green and sauce. It was nothing short of incredible, truly. The pita was nice and warm and fresh. He packed my gyro with so many veggies, sauces, sauteed chickpeas, and so many other things. It was packed with flavor — and Mohammed provided me with white sauce for the fries as well (also great!). It was so flavorful I thought it was meat, but it truly wasn’t — it was just that tasty. Separately, Mohammed let my partner have a tasting of the Okra (which he usually isn’t a fan of) …and he said he absolutely loves this Okra. Idk what Mohammed does, but he does such a great job.
I’ve seen so many small businesses in the space Halal Kingz is in, and this one takes the cake. Affordable food (and a really big serving) that is to die for. I truly cannot wait to go back. Please go there ASAP and make sure this business stays and lasts — and say hello to Mohammed and his (newly married) wife Maj!”
