From a press release:

“Friday mark(ed) the debut of Problem Child, a new bar focused on being a friendly and welcoming watering hole for neighbors and visitors alike. “Problem Child is the divey, comfortable bar every D.C. neighborhood should have,” says Daniel Kramer, Managing Partner. “This bar is about having fun in a relaxed, chill environment with solid food options.”

Guests will enjoy $4 select beers at all times,

fun shooters, and straightforward cocktails alongside honey bourbon baby back ribs, a P.B.B.J. (Peanut Butter, Bacon, and Jelly) sandwich, classic bar fare, as well as complimentary popcorn. The walls feature Washington sports memorabilia next to whimsical decor gathered from area estate sales and consignment stores; a blue marlin here, vintage wooden skis there. “Problem Child is the kind of casual place where you walk in, order drinks at the bar, and strike up a conversation with the bartender or the person next to you,” continues Kramer. ”And while I think it’s generally a douchey move to name a bar after yourself, in this case I thought it was OK.”

Hours: 5 p.m. to close, Wednesday-Friday; 11 a.m. to close, Saturday-Sunday; and open earlier for all games, concerts, F1 Races and other special events.”
