Thanks to Joey for sending above from “K Street and Penn Ave. SE. In the Potomac Gardens complex.”

Michael writes: “Las Placitas in Barracks Row was demolished in the storm.”
YMC writes: “The winds were so bad overnight, a chunk of roof blew off one of the buildings at Ft McNair and sank a boat in the James Creek Marina.”

Jim writes: “We were on Delta flight #1454 from Detroit to DCA. It was supposed to land at 4:45. But after 3 attempts to land we were diverted to Dulles and landed 57 minutes late.”

“The pilot told us all that the wind gusts were in excess of 50 mph each of the three times he tried to land, too high to attempt a landing at DCA.
The wind gusts wrecked havoc on the ground and in the sky.”
