The tech giant signed a 10-year lease for the 7,000-square-foot space with EastBanc, the majority landlord for Georgetown’s retail properties. EastBanc continues to be a catalyst for Georgetown, bringing in a mix of luxury, tech, fashion and in-demand brands from around the world to DC.”

“EastBanc, a leading commercial real estate developer and majority landowner of Georgetown’s retail properties, announced today that Google will open its first retail store in the D.C. region at 3235 M Street NW later this year. The tech giant signed a 10-year lease with EastBanc for the 7,000-square-foot space, marking its sixth retail store nationwide.
Once it opens, customers in the D.C.-area will be able to try and purchase Google devices, accessories and merchandise, including Google phones, Chromebooks and more. The store also offers on-site device repair, trade-ins, in-store expert support with device installation and troubleshooting, and programs and educational workshops.
