My trash can (Capitol Hill) was hit in the ally so many times by trash/recycling trucks that it’s no longer usable. When I called 311, they told me it would be $50 to replace it. DPW told me they could replace it but unfortunately
they are out of trash cans right now and don’t have a timeline for when they will have them again.
The trash agency doesn’t have trash cans!”
