“Return to In-Person Work” from The White House January 20, 2025:

“Heads of all departments and agencies in the executive branch of Government shall, as soon as practicable, take all necessary steps to terminate remote work arrangements and require employees to return to work in-person at their respective duty stations on a full-time basis, provided that the department and agency heads shall make exemptions they deem necessary.

This memorandum shall be implemented consistent with applicable law.”

And in other Executive order news – Chairman Mendelson Statement on Release of Those Involved in January 6th Insurrection:

“DC Council Chairman Phil Mendelson issued the following statement after President Trump pardoned all individuals convicted of participating in the January 6, 2021, insurrection.

“It is disturbing that anyone has been absolved for their participation in the insurrection against the United States back in 2021,” Mendelson said. “January 6th was not just an assault on Congress and an assault on democracy, but an attack on law enforcement. More than 140 officers were injured in the attack on the Capitol. Those who support police do not pardon the individuals who assault police.”

“It is also unthinkable that anyone who took part in the insurrection will be released before they are held accountable. We should not pick and choose who faces consequences for wrongdoing.”
