Check out the restaurant surcharge at Bistro du Coin. If they could take the time to print a new menu saying there’s a 5% sure charge, couldn’t they just update the prices?
Another thing that makes it particularly annoying is that I understand with inflation, prices never really go down. So to tack on some sort of surcharge is rediculous. They have raised their prices and they should just own it. While they’re at it, they could roll-out a menu with 1920s prices and stick on a 500 percent surcharge. Given their rationale, why not?”
