From Café 8’s liquor license application:
“Licensee requests to expand its operations to incorporate 420-426 8th Street, S.E. into the premises. Seating will increase from
42 seats to 180 seats inside of the premises. Total Occupancy Load will remain at 180.”
Cafe 8 was recently in the news for an interesting reason:
“Since Nov. 27, the Barracks Row bistro, hookah bar and lounge at 424 Eighth St. SE requires that patrons entering after 8:30 p.m. be aged 30 or older.”
