I recently joined Mint Dupont and now find out it’s going to be closed for remodeling from Christmas to new year’s. While I fully support the hard-working staff getting a break the closure is actually due to construction, hope they’ll be nice improvements. Here’s the rub, I’ve asked and they refuse to prorate the monthly membership fee,
so all members are effectively paying for a service they aren’t getting, and no, I wasn’t informed about the shutdown when I signed up. Is that even legal? With only one location, going to an alternative isn’t an option.”
