Abunai announced the expansion in December 2023:
“We are so happy and excited to announce that we will be opening our second DC location in the Union market district! We won the Food Access Fund Grant from Mayor Muriel Bowser, which has allowed us to expand Abunai.”
They opened their first location downtown on L Street, NW back in 2017.
