November 5th is gonna be a big day. There’s that other thing AND this site turns 18 years old! Holy mackerel time flies!! The algorithms may be changing but we continue to do what we’ve always done – bringing you the good, the bad, the beautiful, the bizarre and everything in between. Now, I’d be lying if I said I knew what the future will bring. These continue to be crazy days. And for those of you who remember the really crazy days of yesteryear – you know we’re always here for you. And I’ve no doubt we will be here for you for many years to come – but that requires your help. Thanks to so many who have contributed and continue to send tips, photos and questions. You are our lifeblood.
In order for our long term viability to be secure, I’d ask our regular readers, or really anyone who finds this site useful – to please join our Patreon and give whatever you feel comfortable with. Again, only if you are able. But if you are able – it will ensure our long term existence.
As mentioned above, the algorithms of social media etc. are fickle as hell. So one way to ensure you are getting all the goods we post everyday is to please sign up for our free daily newsletter round up, which has all that day’s posts. The state of PoPville is strong. Everyday I am amazed at all the content we cover – thanks to you guys!! I’m the luckiest guy in the world. I do not take this or you for granted. 18 years is a crazy long time. In Internet years, forget about it – insane. So let me just say – thank you, thank you, and thank you for making it all possible.
