We live on the 700 block of Harvard St NW. Tues, Aug 13th was the last time house hold trash was picked up along the entire block. We spoke with our neighbors on the 700 block of Hobart Pl NW and they have also missed 3 pickups. DPW is not responding to tickets or issuing any word as to what is going on.
Is it possible to assess how wide of an issue this is and get DPW’s attention. I cant imagine that they skipped only these 2 blocks 3 times in a row.”

I’ve had an issue with trash collection for months. I have contacted 311, spoken to DPW dispatch, contacted a supervisor and still, no change.
I live in SE DC and trash is collected in the alley on Fridays. Earlier this year, only recycling was collected and I called 311 for trash pick up, regularly. That has continued. When there’s no trash pick up on the designated day by noon, I request a pick up, which I assume cost more tax dollars. The pick up occurs on Wednesdays.”
