Tanem: “Handcrafted Turkish clothing, housewares and jewelry.”
I’ve noticed this little spot starting to fill up:

The owner writes:
“I’m Elif, I live in Adams Morgan, originally from Turkey. I’ve been working with some Turkish and Syrian refugees who lives in Turkey (80% of makers are women including myself) I was working in finance business and joining the markets around DC. When I got good feedback from my customers I thought it would be fun to quit from my finance job and open a store where I can share Turkish handcrafts items and Turkish hospitality culture. On the side during the store hours I will have Turkish tea and coffee to share as a compliment

My store hours:
Weekdays 11:30 am to 6:30 pm
Saturday 12-6 pm
Sunday 10-3 pm”
