I don’t know if you’re familiar with HIPS, but we are an organization that has operated for 30 years in DC, providing services and support to people who are impacted by sex work and drug use. This summer, we have the opportunity to purchase the building that we currently operate out of, ensuring that we won’t be subject to continual rent hikes and the threats of having to relocate. We have launched a capital campaign to help us secure funds for a downpayment of our H Street building.”
