“Curious if anyone knows what’s going on at the corner of Q & 19th Street NW.
Back in my day, if you wanted the “distressed look,” you took a piece of sandpaper to your jeans. Apparently now the trend is to bolt your clothing to the sidewalk and force pedestrians to tromp across your apparel.
A couple of weeks ago it was shirts, this weekend it was puffer jackets. And yes, I did report it to 311 because the sidewalk is now too narrow for anyone in a wheelchair, using an assistance dog, stroller, cane or walker, etc.”
