I made reservations to have dinner Wednesday night at Lavagna on Barracks Row. Got a text confirmation the day before like normal. When my friend and I showed up,
there was a sign on the door that they were closed due to a broken water pipe in the kitchen.
(If that was the case, they should have called everyone with a reservation to let them know.) However, the plot thickens because in addition to the pipe note, there’s a huge banner across the restaurant advertising available commercial space. So closed for repairs or forever? They are still taking reservations…”
