“We are excited to announce that we will be opening a new cafe this Saturday, June 8th at 1924 14th St NW! For 10 years, we’ve eagerly awaited the opportunity to serve the historic 14th St / U St corridor, and we are thrilled that the moment has finally arrived. Our new location is a quaint cafe inspired by the vibrant style of the area – featuring a curved espresso bar with marble and tile detail, floor to ceiling garage door windows, local DC photography, and a light and airy atmosphere.
Compass Coffee Donates Opening Day Proceeds to Capital Pride
Not only are we celebrating the opening of our new cafe, we’re excited to be opening on the same day as the DC Capital Pride Parade! Even better – our location stands at the starting point of the parade route!
At Compass, we’ve been proud to partner with Capital Pride Alliance on several occasions – we’ve hosted Capital Pride galas, Capital Pride award receptions, opening celebrations, and every year we donate all proceeds from our specialty Pride Tins to Capital Pride Alliance as well.
As we gear up for this Saturday’s festivities, we’re proud to announce another year of partnership by donating 100% of the proceeds from our grand opening to the Capital Pride Alliance. Furthermore, our exclusive Pride Tins will be back in stock and available for purchase at our cafe. Our opening day event is an opportunity for everyone to come together, celebrate pride, and share in the excitement of our new location. We are grateful to be able to participate in this special day and recognize those being celebrated.
