Back in early April a reader reported that Ruben’s has “hands-down the best lunch deal in DC”
Now they’ve applied for a liquor license:
“New Class C Restaurant with a Seating Capacity of 78 and a Total Occupancy Load of 78. The Licensee is also requesting Holiday Extension of Hours, the Alcohol Carry-out and Delivery Endorsement, and an Entertainment Endorsement to provide Live Entertainment with Dancing and Cover Charge”
And while we’re on Connecticut Ave – the current look at the former Big Hunt has me gobsmacked:
