“Soft shell crab season is officially back! The Salt Line is offering soft shell crab across all three locations in Navy Yard, Ballston, and Bethesda starting Friday, March 29.
The Salt Line’s take on the “softie” features a “Nashville Hot” offering including buttermilk-fried soft-shell crab, topped with house-made hot sauce and served on griddled white bread with pickled green tomatoes and black garlic-infused honey. A seasonal specialty, soft shell crabs are available for a limited time at all The Salt Line Locations.
The soft shell crabs currently available at The Salt Line locations are sourced from Georgia. The Salt Line will serve local soft shell crabs as soon as they are available.”
