I’m thinking about modifying my back patio in DC and I’m having a hard time figuring out what is allowed.
I’m not at the point of needing an architect, I want to see what is possible first. I’ve looked at the zoning code and permit information but it is not clear whether I can do what I want to do. This is complicated by the fact that I’m in a historic district. Looking for a recommendation for a zoning/permit expert who can look into the situation for me.”
