“For Vanessa Villarreal Schwartz: Mom, wife, y hija”

Greg passes on this very sad GoFundMe for Vanessa Villarreal Schwartz:

“Vanessa Villarreal Schwartz – mother, wife, daughter, niece, cousin, and friend – passed away in a tragic accident in the early hours of Sunday March 10, 2024. Vanessa was a beautiful young woman who lived her life completely dedicated to her 8-month old daughter Luciana (Lucy), her husband Michael, and her two parents Luisa and Jose. She was a sweet, generous, loving, and caring woman whose life was cut short by the negligence of a driver for what was supposed to be a safe ride home.

Please help us with gifts and contributions to help cover the cost of Vanessa’s funeral on behalf of her family who are devastated by her loss and funeral costs. Lucy, Michael, and her parents Luisa and Jose family never planned for this moment and so are unprepared to meet the high funeral expenses, but wish to provide the memorial that Vanessa’s life deserves so family and friends can say their final goodbyes.

Any level of generosity is much appreciated and excess contributions will be put towards savings for Lucy’s future.

We have also created a sign-up sheet for meals and other things to do to help the family navigate through this. Please take a look and provide what you can: Meal Train Sign Up.

Written with love by Vanessa’s cousin, Diana Aleman.”

Finding a gift for moms can be difficult. Google “Mother’s Day gifts,” and you’ll scroll through endless lists of beauty products, candles and fuzzy robes. Sure, those are sweet, but sometimes it’s fun to surprise loved ones with something a little more, well, practical!

Here’s one idea: Give her a gift certificate for a home cleaning from Well-Paid Maids. It’s the perfect “thank you,” “I love you” or “you’ve got this” for any mom. She can schedule the home cleaning at her convenience and breathe easy knowing she has one less thing to do.

Our cleaners will take care of everything, including vacuuming and mopping as well as cleaning and dusting countertops, tables, mirrors, appliances and more. Sinks, toilets, showers and appliance exteriors also get a good scrub.
