The Irish have St. Patrick’s Day on the 17th. We Sicilians celebrate St. Joseph’s Day on March 19th.
I grew up with St. Joseph’s Day baked good specialties – zeppole, sfingi, and others – and the place I used to get them here in DC was Catania Bakery on North Capitol.
Catania Bakery is located at 1404 North Capitol St, NW (just south of P).

But they closed during the pandemic and seem not to have reopened.
Am wondering if your readers know any place(s) in the DMV where I can get these special treats in 2024.
