I love taking my dog on long city walks, especially when I can stop for a coffee or bite to eat along the way. One of the few pandemic adaptations I enjoyed was the abundance of businesses with pick-up/carry-out windows.
I took my dog everywhere with me in those days because I knew I never had to worry about navigating a No Dogs Allowed Inside policy to pick-up an order when I was walking him by myself. These days they’re (understandably) harder to find. We stop by The Coffee Bar on S Street quite a bit, Call Your Mother on Georgia Ave, and the Taqueria Habanero on Bryant Street, but I was wondering if your readers might help me find some other businesses around town with convenient ways to pick up food or drinks without coming inside the store.”
