Big crash at 11th and S NW, across from Garrison Elementary. At at 3:27 AM, a green pickup truck with Maryland license plates came barreling down 11th St NW from U Street. It crossed through the intersection at 11th St. and S St NW at high rate of speed, veered into wrong/opposite side of street,
and smashed into two parked cars across from Garrison elementary school.
The two parked cars sustained very heavy damage, were pushed out of their parking spots down the street and up onto the curb. The culprit pickup truck had a smashed windshield, hood damage, and was sparking all over the street as it drove away.”
