My husband and I came across this white Lexus at the intersection of Appleton & 31st Streets in Forest Hills / Van Ness yesterday (Saturday) morning. Photos don’t do justice of the bizarre angle this car landed in.
We found it around 9:20 am – and called 911- the windows were so tinted we couldn’t tell if anyone was inside. 911 immediately transferred me to DC Parking Enforcement and the woman there told me to call 911. When I told her I already had, she said they’d send someone out. We checked back around 10 am and it was still there but a neighbor said it was gone when she walked by around 4pm. It’s not clear how long it has been there, but kind of odd how many leaves were on the hood.”
