From Raising Cane’s:
“It’ll be ONE LOVE® for the history books when Raising Cane’s opens its first Washington, D.C. location in the famed Union Station on Tuesday, January 9.
Located in Union Station at 50 Massachusetts Avenue NE, the new Raising Cane’s will offer its craveable Chicken Finger meals, freshly squeezed lemonade, buttery Texas toast, and signature Cane’s sauce
to the more than 40 million commuters that travel through Union Station each year.
The Restaurant is located on the east side Ground Level of Union Station and near the Amtrak terminals, serving as an ideal spot for locals and visitors alike looking for hot, fresh chicken on the go. Customers looking for instant Chicken Finger gratification can dive into their Box Combos via the standing tables inside the Restaurant.
“This is a historic moment for Raising Cane’s and we’re honored to be part of this one-of-a-kind destination that sees millions of people from around the world each year,” said Dustin Shearer, Divisional Leader of Restaurants. “Bringing ONE LOVE® to our Nation’s Capital is a special achievement for our brand, and our Crew can’t wait to open the doors!”

Potomac Harmony is Back! Following a gap year of competing, then virtual rehearsals during the pandemic, followed by the well-earned retirement of our long-term director, a year of a director search, Potomac Harmony hit the regional contest stage in Concord, North Carolina in March for the first time since 2018! It was exhilarating, reaffirming, and rewarding!
The chorus hit all of its goals, the biggest of which was to have fun and sing our best on contest stage — we did both! Because we earned a score over 400 points, our new Director, Allison Lynskey, was awarded the Novice Director award, photo above. Additionally, one of our charter members, Jackie Bottash, was nominated for and honored with the Leadership Excellence award. It was a celebratory weekend!
What’s next? So much! We now look forward to upcoming performances, growing our membership, and expanding our musical product with new arrangements and an education component each week. It’s an exciting time to be part of this ever-growing ensemble!
