Enjoy Live Performances, Holiday Crafts, Seasonal Bites, Santa and more in Northwest DC

From a press release:

“WHAT: City Ridge, a new bustling community located along Wisconsin Avenue, is ringing in the most wonderful time of the year with a two-day holiday market and tree lighting, featuring DC’s premier artisan pop-event URBNmarket.

On Saturday, December 2 and Sunday, December 3, shop from over 50 carefully-curated local vendors on City Ridge’s historic Great Lawn. Spread the holiday cheer with glitter tattoos and face painting, and don’t forget to write and give a letter to Santa. Savor the best flavors of the holiday season with bites from local restaurants, create your own decor at the craft station, and take a Saturday train ride through Ridge Square. Pose for Instagrammable pics with the whole family to welcome the holiday season! On Saturday, City Ridge will also host its second annual community tree lighting ceremony, featuring a performance from the Children’s Chorus of Washington.

WHEN:

Holiday Market and Tree Lighting Ceremony: Saturday, December 2 from 3:00 to 8:00 PM

Holiday Market: Sunday, December 3 from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

WHERE: City Ridge (14 Ridge Square NW Washington, DC 20016). Hourly parking is available on-site.

HOW: This event is FREE and open to the public.”
