I am really not sure what else to do besides writing to you to share and divide my sorrow after our recent take out experience. My husband and I ordered take out this past Sunday from one of our local favorite restaurants and had a very disappointing experience. We ordered two seasonal pasta dishes and one appetizer and ended up paying almost $80 for a pick up order. The bill shows a ridiculous amount container fee and the food came in containers you can see
in the pictures attached, not sure if that was a joke by the restaurant. I remember the same pasta dish being $16 three years ago and now it’s at $23.50. The entire pasta dish including the amazing container weighed 6.74 oz, which in other words means that my husband was still hungry after spending one individual’s weekly grocery budget. Others might be cool with it but it’s safe to say this restaurant has lost me as their customer. I would like to know your thoughts on this experience.”
