“This was the scene in front of Garrison Elementary this morning. Several of the wicks on the Abe Lincoln wax sculpture were lit early this morning. DCFD hosed everything down. Abe had a rough weekend…most of his head had been melted away by Sunday morning.”

Kelly wrote: “It was lit this weekend! It was cool and beautiful, and I feel really lucky that I got to see it. It doesn’t look like burning Lincoln in effigy. It looks like he glows from within and slowly melts into the ground.”
