“Turning the Page is excited to bring a Carpe Librum pop-up bookstore to the Logan Circle area! We recently activated a former “streatery” at 1520 14th St NW to sell gently used books, CDs, DVDs, and vinyl.
Using an outdoor space adjacent to the soon-to-be-opened Bar Japonais, customers can shop along the sidewalk, under the shade. Proceeds benefit local education non-profit Turning the Page, which has been running family engagement and literacy-focused programming for 25 years in Washington, D.C. This pop-up will be running until the new restaurant opens, with upcoming dates on September 2, 3, 9, 16, 23.”
