“Dined at Matchbox on Newark Street on Thursday night and staff told us they were closing for good after Sunday. Staff being absorbed at Matchbox in Bethesda. Said they thought

owner Thompson Hospitality would rebrand to another of their “concepts” but no real info. Little odd – second fail at that space which clearly has the best patio in Cathedral Commons.”
