Date: September 2nd, 2023 Time: 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM Location: Farragut Square Park

Are you ready to make a positive impact on the lives of Washington DC’s homeless and poverty- stricken community? We invite you to be a part of our meaningful food drive event focused on giving back and providing support to those in need.

Event Details: Our food drive aims to bring smiles and nourishment to those less fortunate in our community. The event will be held at Farragut Square Park and will feature a heartwarming “cookout” theme, including hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, and refreshing drinks. We are committed to creating a warm and welcoming environment that fosters a sense of unity.

How You Can Help: While our volunteer staff is currently full, we still need your support to make this event a success. We are seeking assistance in the following areas:

1. Donations: If you have gently used clothes, you no longer need, we kindly request that you consider donating them to provide warmth and comfort to those in need.

2. Monetary Contributions: Your generous monetary contributions will allow us to purchase essential toiletries and items for the homeless. Every contribution counts and brings us closer to our goal of making a meaningful impact.

3. Food Donations: You can directly contribute to the cookout-themed menu by preparing and delivering food items such as hotdogs, hamburgers, chips, or drinks. Your culinary creations will help spread joy through nourishing meals.

Get Involved: Your participation can make a significant difference in the lives of individuals who are experiencing homelessness and hardships. Together, we can create a positive change and bring hope to our community.

If you’re interested in contributing to our food drive or have any questions, please reach out to us at [email protected]. Your support means the world to us, and we can’t wait to work together to make this event a success.

Let’s come together and make September 2nd a day of compassion, community, and care.

Thank you for your consideration and support!”
