L’Ardente Doing Lunch and Brunch for Restaurant Week from Aug. 28–Sept. 3

200 Massachusetts Avenue, NW

From an email:

“L’Ardente participates in Restaurant Week from Aug. 28–Sept. 3, serving a three-course menu for $25 per person during lunch and brunch only. Reservations can be made via Resy or through the restaurant’s website and are strongly recommended as we book up quickly. Note that lunch will be offered during the weekdays of Restaurant Week (Aug. 28–Sept. 1 from 11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m.) and brunch on that Saturday and Sunday (Sept. 2–3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Here are a few other interesting details about L’Ardente’s Restaurant Week menu:

Return of a favorite: The Torta al Cioccolato, a 13-layer chocolate cake accented by chocolate ganache and coffee amaretto sauce, was removed from the menu recently to make way for new creations. This is a great way for fans to reconnect with a L’Ardente classic—which you would never know is actually gluten-free. (Except that we list dietary notes on our menus!)

Dietary accommodations: Our guests know that we take great pains to accommodate dietary restrictions, whenever possible—and Restaurant Week is no different. Each course on both menus features a vegan option; and gluten-free diners can modify most dishes by requesting gluten-free pasta or by asking the kitchen to omit gluten from a dish, such as ordering the Cesare without breadcrumbs or the Panzanella without the croutons.

The full Restaurant Week menus for L’Ardente’s lunch and brunch are attached, along with a few photos (credits in file names). The menus can also be viewed on the restaurant’s website and will be offered in addition to the regular a la carte menus. Please reach out if you have any questions!”

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
