Thanks to H. for sending more on the old Sheba Cafe space: “I just walked by the old Sheba Cafe in Columbia heights. I spoke with the owner and he’s opening a coffee shop (that specializes in ethiopian coffee and cuisine) within 10 days or earlier!

there will be outdoor seating as well. He also owned Sheba before it closed down. they’re likely going to rename the cafe Ube Cafe — but it will be similar to Sheba, just revamped!”
