A group of local community members are planning an inaugural “Uptown Pride” event on June 10th 2023 and we are looking for volunteers to help with the event!
Finalizing the events across the next few weeks but the event is slated to have:
– Drag storytime with Tara Hoot
– LGBTQ+ & allies – makers market
– 2 DJ’s
– Morelands Beer Garden
– Captain Cookie
And overall — just a really great time for a section in the city that has lacked a true pride event in the past years!
We are super pumped to put this together — this years chosen charity is Trevor Project!”
