“Dear PoPville,
The last couple of weekends, I’ve noticed the loop around Reagan National Airport become a parking lot and a nightmare for anyone arriving or departing. The traffic is so bad that cars can’t even leave the airport after picking someone up from arrivals.
This seems ironic since the whole arrivals area was just redesigned. Is this a tragic design flaw or is there another event that is clogging up the airport traffic?”

DCA reported last week:

“Heavy traffic is reported on airport roads. Driver tips:
– Park in garages (free up to 60 min) to wait for your pick-up to land.
– Don’t circle the roads.
– Drop or pick up at an offsite Metro station instead.
Our police are working to keep traffic moving.”
