Update from Blank Street Coffee:
“This year, Blank Street has exciting plans to expand its presence in its existing markets (D.C. included!) and has made the decision to close the Shaw Street location in order to transform it into a Barista Training Lab (a first for Blank Street in D.C.!)
The training lab is now currently open and serves as an educational hub, built for baristas to practice and perfect every part of their day-to-day role, from taking orders to making drinks. The lab will host a 2-day Orientation Training that all new Blank Street baristas complete, as well as ongoing training for the regional barista teams to continue to hone their skills (for instance, perfecting the perfect latte!).”
