“DDOTTREES should be able to tell you, and you may be able to find details on the city’s 311 requests map. FWIW, I have been incredibly impressed with the DC Arborist’s responsiveness and the amount of information they make available.”
“Just to follow up, it’s the Arborist @DDOTDC that makes the decision whether a tree needs to be removed and then what is replanted in its place. The folks who do the actual removing are contractors, I believe, and they can do a lot of damage to anything in their way.”
