Wanted to let you know that Johnny’s All American on 11th Street is open. Along with Buddy’s, Johnny’s is another great addition to a great block. Of course we miss Bad Saint, but as with Room 11 / Buddy’s, if something great had to go, at least something great backfilled it. They expanded into the former Willow (etc.) space,
so it’s roomy, comfortable, and inviting. The owners, Diana and Brendan, are warm and welcoming, and when we wandered in we ran into Matthew, Rose, and Nick from Wonderland. So the new kid on the block is being welcomed with open arms. Now if they would just get to work on the next block north…”
