“exposing brick?”

“Dear PoPville,

Thanks to the Prince’s obsession with exposed brick, I’m thinking of exposing myself. I mean, my brick. I mean, the brick party wall in one room of my 100+ year old Columbia Heights row house.

I would love to hear experiences with this process. Are you glad you did it? Did you find horrors under the plaster?

Did it result in any change in the noise/ smell level from the neighbors? Any recommendations for how to seal the wall so it doesn’t shed brick dust all over? Further thoughts?”
