I received my proposed property tax assessment for 2024 last week (as have many others also I’m guessing) and I’m wondering if anyone would know why the “proposed assessed value” for my condo decreased from 2023 to 2024 and yet the “2024 Estimated Taxable Assessment” increased?
Can anyone explain that to me? I spoke with someone at the Office of Tax and Revenue, but he did not know the answer. He referred me to the actual appraiser of my property, but her mailbox is full, so i was unable to leave a message. Any insights would be appreciated!”
