I was running along Piney Branch Ave this morning when I saw a tow truck unloading a car into the roadside parking just S/W of the 16th St underpass. It had an orange tag on the back license plate and the front was riddled with bullets.
I am assuming this is related to the homicide at 14th and Spring. But I am wondering – do the police often move evidence cars to Rock Creek Park like this? Just surprising. I would have thought there’d be a police impound lot or something.”
