“Dear PoPville,

You: tall guy, wearing headphones, grey or brown coat, curly brown hair, and the bluest eyes I’ve ever seen.

Me: leather jacket, short brown hair, blue jeans, grey backpack, smiled at you.

We walked passed each other on Columbia Rd. Feb 1. I was going North, and you South. We made eye contact, and both did a subsequent double-take. You are very, very hot. I wish I’d asked for your number! Free for a drink?”

and

“I was walking my golden retriever Thursday morning (2/2) and came across a guy with a golden as well.

His golden was petite like mine and very light colored (my girl is darker caramel). We both mentioned they are almost 3 years old and i said my girl’s bday is on Valentine’s Day. He thought his was the same day and asked if i got her from the Dc area (i got her in Florida). His pup had a blue leash/collar and a white flower?

I got kinda shy to talk more and we continued our separate ways. So seeing if he sees this, even if as a dog dad friend!”

Ed. Note: If either of these are you, please email [email protected] so I can put you in touch with OP. PoPville is not affiliated with either party, please proceed with any potential connection at your own risk using caution as you would any online encounter. For those curious about past missed connections, many have been made and when possible I’ll try to update when/if more are made.

For many remote workers, a messy home is distracting.

You’re getting pulled into meetings, and your unread emails keep ticking up. But you can’t focus because pet hair tumbleweeds keep floating across the floor, your desk has a fine layer of dust and you keep your video off in meetings so no one sees the chaos behind you.

It’s no secret a dirty home is distracting and even adds stress to your life. And who has the energy to clean after work? That’s why it’s smart to enlist the help of professionals, like Well-Paid Maids.
